Contact: <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"mailto:reservas@herdadedaboavista.pt\">reservas@herdadedaboavista.pt<\/a> \u00b7 00351 919 618 982 \u00b7 <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.herdadedaboavista.pt\">www.herdadedaboavista.pt<\/a><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Scope and acceptance<\/strong><br \/>These terms govern all accommodation bookings at Herdade da Boavista, through any channel. By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them in full.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Where a booking is made through a platform or travel agent, that platform\u2019s conditions also apply; in the event of a conflict regarding payment and cancellation, the conditions notified at the time of booking on that platform prevail.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Booking process<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>A booking request is not a booking. A booking is confirmed only once we issue written confirmation and the deposit has cleared.<\/li><li>You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, including names, contact details, dates and number of guests.<\/li><li>Bookings are personal and may not be transferred without our prior written agreement.<\/li><li>The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible to us for everyone in the booking.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Prices<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Prices are per unit per night, in euros, including VAT at the applicable rate.<\/li><li>They include accommodation, bed and bath linen, final cleaning, and normal water and energy use.<\/li><li>They exclude meals, activities, transfers and any extra services unless expressly stated in the booking confirmation.<\/li><li>Municipal tourist tax, where applicable, is charged separately.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Payment<\/strong><\/p><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>When<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Amount due<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>On booking<\/td><td>50% of the total stay<\/td><td>Within 5 days of confirmation<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Before arrival<\/td><td>The remaining 50%<\/td><td>No later than 10 days before check-in<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Last-minute bookings<\/td><td>100% of the total<\/td><td>At the time of booking, where made fewer than 10 days before check-in<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><ul><li>Failure to pay the deposit within the stated period automatically voids the request and the unit is released.<\/li><li>Failure to pay the balance by 10 days before arrival is treated as a cancellation by the guest and clause 7 applies.<\/li><li>We accept bank transfer, MB Way, Multibanco and debit or credit card. Any transfer charges are borne by the guest.<\/li><li>The invoice is issued in the name of the lead guest, unless otherwise indicated in writing before payment.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Minimum stay<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Standard season: minimum of 2 nights.<\/li><li>Weekends, public holidays and high season: minimum of 7 nights.<\/li><li>New Year, Easter and special periods: minimum of 4 nights.<\/li><li>Shorter stays may be accepted subject to availability and written confirmation.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Cancellation by the guest<\/strong><br \/>Cancellations must be sent in writing to <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"mailto:reservas@herdadedaboavista.pt\">reservas@herdadedaboavista.pt<\/a>and take effect on the date we receive them.<\/p><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Notice given<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Amount retained<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Amount refunded<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>30 days or more before check-in<\/td><td>Nothing<\/td><td>100% of amounts paid<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Fewer than 30 days and 10 or more days before<\/td><td>The 50% deposit<\/td><td>Anything paid above the deposit<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Fewer than 10 days before check-in<\/td><td>The full amount<\/td><td>Nothing<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>No-show<\/td><td>The full amount<\/td><td>Nothing<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Early departure<\/td><td>All nights booked<\/td><td>Nothing<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p dir=\"ltr\">Refunds are made using the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation notice. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance covering cancellation.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Changes to dates<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Change requests are subject to availability and must be made in writing at least 30 days in advance.<\/li><li>If the new dates cost more, the difference is payable; if they cost less, the difference is not refunded.<\/li><li>If the change cannot be accommodated and you choose not to keep the original booking, clause 7 applies.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Cancellation by us<\/strong><br \/>If for reasons attributable to us we cannot provide the booked unit, we will seek alternative accommodation of equal or higher standard and cover any price difference. If you do not accept the alternative, we will refund all amounts paid in full within 14 days. This does not affect your right to compensation under general law.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">Nothing in this clause affects the client's right to be compensated under general law.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Force majeure<\/strong><br \/>Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, epidemic, a public authority decision preventing the stay, or prolonged interruption of essential supplies. Where the stay cannot be rescheduled, amounts paid are refunded less only demonstrable non-recoverable costs already incurred.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Right of withdrawal<\/strong><br \/>Under Article 17(1)(l) of Portuguese Decree-Law 24\/2014 of 14 February, contracts for accommodation services for a specific date do not give the consumer a right of withdrawal. Only the cancellation policy in clause 7 applies.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Arrival, departure and house rules<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Check-in 3 pm to 8 pm; check-out by 11 am. Arrivals outside these hours must be arranged in advance.<\/li><li>All guests must present identification at check-in. Under Article 16 of Portuguese Law 23\/2007, stays by foreign nationals are reported to the competent authorities.<\/li><li>Occupancy may not exceed the stated maximum for each unit. Unregistered guests entitle us to terminate the stay without refund.<\/li><li>Our House Rules also apply and are signed at check-in; a copy is available beforehand on request.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Liability<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>You are liable for damage caused by you, your party or your animals to the accommodation, equipment or common areas.<\/li><li>We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to belongings left in the units or common areas, except as provided by law.<\/li><li>The estate is a working farm with uneven ground, animals and machinery. Moving outside marked paths is at your own risk.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Data protection<\/strong><br \/>Personal data collected in connection with the booking is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.herdadedaboavista.pt\">www.herdadedaboavista.pt<\/a> and in print at reception.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Complaints and dispute resolution<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Complaints Book available at reception and at <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.livroreclamacoes.pt\">www.livroreclamacoes.pt<\/a>.<\/li><li>For consumer disputes, and under Portuguese Law 144\/2015, you may refer the matter to the competent alternative dispute resolution body: CNIACC \u2013 Centro Nacional de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (<a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cniacc.pt\">www.cniacc.pt<\/a>, <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"mailto:geral@cniacc.pt\">geral@cniacc.pt<\/a>, 253 619 107 \/ 232 451 135).<\/li><li>EU online dispute resolution platform: <a style=\"color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/consumers\/odr\">ec.europa.eu\/consumers\/odr<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Governing law and jurisdiction<\/strong><br \/>Portuguese law applies. The courts of the district of Beja have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Acceptance<\/strong><br \/>I declare that I have read and
